You will be seen by a highly trained & experienced, Board-Certified, Adult Psychiatry MD Specialist who understands you and your unique situation well. Our Medical Director & Attending Psychiatrist is a Phi Beta Kappa honors graduate of UCLA, then trained for 8 years here in San Diego at renown UCSD School of Medicine & top-rated UCSD Department of Psychiatry, then awarded a full-time Faculty & Clinical Instructor position at leading UCSF prior to entering private practice over 20 years ago, as a specialist in “Occupational Psychiatry” (working primarily with college & graduate students, law & medical students, biz & tech workers & managers & executives, RNs & healthcare workers, Attorneys, CPAs & MBAs). Being brain healthy is especially critical for these very busy, hardworking and stressed workers. Your initial visit will be an intensive 1 - 2 hour Intake with a Senior, Board-Certified Adult MD Psychiatrist Specialist reviewing past & present health histories, current body & mind functioning, recent or new lab testing, and pertinent formal mathematical health inventories. You will review all findings with your Doctor and be told about future recommendations for self &/or professional-assisted care once your initial evaluation is complete. The fee is $500.
Follow-up visits are scheduled for further evaluation and/or for Treatment Planning and ongoing care, these appointments are typically 30 - 45 minutes, the fee for each visit is $300. Ongoing care requires regular and ongoing follow of your reported symptoms and the reduction of these symptoms during treatment. New patients are usually seen each week or two until symptom & condition reductions are realized & maintained, then monthly checkups are usual. Treatment modifications or changes to your Treatment Plan are made as necessary and as mutually agreed. Full & open sharing of your ongoing health & well-being are both needed & essential. Best outcomes usually come to those engaged & collaborative in their care. You deserve the best, right?
Second-opinions regarding previously diagnosed and/or treated Psychiatric conditions are also offered by our Senior, Board-Certified Adult MD Psychiatrists. Intensive evaluations and re-evaluations by a second Specialist Expert often are helpful & useful in evaluating more complex cases. The above noted Intake & a few Follow-up sessions can allow for a complete & thorough Second-opinion evaluation. Findings can be shared with both the evaluee and/or their family and/or current or recent health Provider and/or Legal representative if needed, upon your request and your full written consent. Verbal & brief written summary findings are included in the above fees, with detailed written reports paid at the above hourly Follow-up rate. Good collaboration & the team approach are best.
